The 150th has been Republican since its creation in 1969, save for a two-year period from 2001 to 2002 where an incumbent Republican, John A. Lawless, switched parties. Corr, who only served a two-year term, defeated Democrat Linda Weaver with 17,065 votes to her 14,352 in 2016.
Webster, who earned PhD in public policy at George Washington University, worked for 20 years in the Pentagon as a liaison between U.S. Congress and the Air Force.
Fountain, meanwhile, is a student in Eastern University's Master's in Special Education program. He's worked as a junior kindergarten teacher for eight years. He was elected to the Skippack Township Board of Supervisors since 2013.
Republicans have controlled both the Pennsylvania state senate and house since 2011. Going into Election Day 2018, Republicans have a very comfortable 33-16 majority in the senate, and a 120-79 majority in the house.
