AC Unit Reported Stolen at United Way Bucks County
This is the third time in 18 months that thieves struck the Fall Township headquarters.

An outdoor air conditioning unit has been reported stolen at the United Way of Bucks County’s Falls Township headquarters, according to 6abc.com.
Officers with the Falls Township Police Department told reporters that the thieves will likely sell the unit as scrap metal for quick cash.

The report says that this is the third time in 18 months that something was stolen from the office. United Way of Bucks County CEO Jamie Haddon told 6abc.com that people have twice broken into a storage shed that housed donated appliances and other items. The total amount lost in the three incidents is estimated to be $10,000.
The Bucks County Courier Times reports that a Bensalem man has offered to replace the missing AC unit, valued at $3,000.
