Andy Harnishfeger Earns Eagle Scout
Troop 19 honors Andy Harnishfeger at an Eagle Scout Court of Honor at Langhorne Presbyterian Church.
Andy Harnishfeger was recently awarded the rank of Eagle Scout at an Eagle Court of Honor held at Langhorne Presbyterian Church.
Core Creek Park was the beneficiary of his Eagle Scout Leadership Service Project. Andy built an enclosure for the refuse containers in the boating area of the park. The enclosure helps keep the trash cans secure against being knocked over by the wind or vandals.
Andy has held several leadership positions with Troop 19 including Patrol Leader and Quartermaster. In addition to camping extensively with his troop, he completed the One Mile Swim when he was 11 and is a member of Order of the Arrow. Andy is known among his troop as an expert on the various kinds of knots.

The son of Maureen and Mark Harnishfeger, Andy is a2015 graduate of Neshaminy High School where he was a member of the Symphony Orchestra and Future Problem Solving Club. He also earned a 1st Degree Black Belt in Karate. Andy is enrolled at West Chester State University where he is majoring in Marine Biology.
