Career Fair to Highlight More than 1,000 Bucks County Jobs

Hyperlocal digital job board RecruitmentQueen.com has set its second annual BIG! Bucks County Career Fair for Sept. 22.

The two-events-in-one career fair will feature a general career room, as well as a health care jobs room. This year’s fair promises to be even bigger than the inaugural career fair, which featured 45 employers and more than 500 job seekers, according to RecruitmentQueen President and CEO Jennifer Schultz.

Schultz said she anticipates 90 employers exhibiting at the career fair. Radio station 94.5 PST may also use the career fair to seek year-round interns and an expanded sales force, 94.5 PST Integrated Sales Manager Moss Jacobson said.

The radio station is co-sponsoring the career fair. The collaboration is expected to attract more employers and those looking for work, Schultz said. The Princeton, N.J.-based station draws its largest listening audience in Bucks County.

Of the station’s 600,000 weekly listeners, more than 100,000 live in Bucks County, according to Jacobson.

Partnering with RecruitmentQueen on the career fair was “mutually beneficial” for both parties, he said.

“Equally we lend credibility to one another,” he said, adding that radio offers RecruitmentQueen’s online audience another outlet. “Radio reaches 93 percent of people in the U.S. every single week.”

Schultz said collaborating with the radio station provides another avenue for employers to reach job seekers – and employers looking to exhibit.

“Radio will help us to reach a different audience to attract more job seekers to the job fair,” Schultz said. “We want to keep showing that there ARE jobs in Bucks County and help employers find quality hires.”
