Celebrate Independence Day at Washington Crossing Historic Park
Celebrate Independence Day at Washington Crossing Historic Park! One highlight is a live reading of the Declaration of Independence at noon.
The public is invited to celebrate Independence Day at Washington Crossing Historic Park on July 4 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. See living historians demonstrate their crafts, tour historic buildings, and see a military encampment. Highlights of the day will include a reading of the Declaration of Independence at noon and the christening of a recently refurbished Durham boat.
Admission to this event is $8 for adults (age 12 and over), $4 for children (ages 5-11) and free for those under age five. All proceeds support educational and historical programming in the park. Parking is free and this event is held rain or shine. Refreshments will be available for purchase.
Washington Crossing Historic Park is located at the intersection of Routes 32 and 532.
