Central Bucks Teacher Charged with Sexual Assault of 14-year-old Student
By James Boyle The Bucks County District Attorney says a middle school band teacher had a sexual relationship with a student in 2012.

A former Central Bucks middle school teacher faces sexual assault charges filed by the Bucks County District Attorney Tuesday.
Bridgett Szychulski, 29, will be arraigned in front of New Britain, Pa., district Judge Regina Armitage on four counts, including deviate sexual intercourse, statutory sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault and indecent assault, according to press release from Bucks DA David Heckler.
According to the statement, Szychulski allegedly had a sexual relationship with a 14-year-old student while she taught band at Lenape Valley Middle School in the Central Bucks School District. Heckler credited the district administration for reporting the accusation and notifying law enforcement.

“This has not always been the case in the past,” said the statement. “We sincerely appreciate the district’s action to protect Bucks County’s Children.”
