Corvette Club of Delaware Valley Spreads Sunshine

Corvette Club of Delaware Valley has helped Sunshine Foundation answer dreams for the past thirty years.

For the past thirty years, the Corvette Club of Delaware Valley has been longtime supporters of Sunshine Foundation, the original wish granting organization in the United States. Pictured above, Bob Weiss, President of the Corvette Enthusiasts Community Foundation presents a check to President of Sunshine Foundation, Kate Sample, in the amount of $10,000. The funds were raised through the annual corvette raffle. The donation made by the Corvette Club of the Delaware County allows Sunshine Foundation to grant the dreams of two Sunshine Foundation Dreamers in or around Delaware County. Other local charities also benefited from the Club’s generosity.

About Sunshine Foundation
The Sunshine Foundation is a national children's charity that answers the dreams of chronically ill, seriously ill, physically challenged and abused children ages three to eighteen, whose families are unable to fulfill their requests due to the financial strain the child's illness may cause. Sunshine Foundation was founded in 1976 by a Philadelphia police officer who had been assigned to a local children’s hospital and wanted to assist the families of critically and terminally ill children. For 40 years, Sunshine Foundation has granted over 39,000 dreams. Over 80% of every dollar received goes directly to program services. To learn more about Sunshine Foundation and ways you can help spread sunshine, or make a donation, visit www.sunshinefoundation.org, or contact Jessica Greene, Development Manager, at 215-396-4770.
