Levittown company creates a "Picture Perfect" holiday celebration for YWCA Bucks County kids
Volunteers from local company reach out to make the holidays happy for less fortunate children
1SEO, a Levittown-based search engine optimization and digital marketing company, hosted a “Pretty in Paint” holiday party on Friday, December 12, 2014, for 25 under-served children participating in the YWCA Homework Zone program at the Creekside Apartments in Bensalem.
Nearly 30 employees from 1SEO volunteered their time and talents and provided all of the supplies needed for each child to paint a Frosty the Snowman portrait including canvases, brushes, paint and also an instructor to assist the children in their creative efforts. The volunteers also provided pizza and party treats.
YWCA Homework Zone provides elementary school students with after-school activities that include academic enrichment, prevention education and life-skills training. Individualized homework assistance is provided for the students along with the opportunity to learn study skills, study for tests, review class notes and develop higher level thinking skills in language arts and math.
