'New Year, New Career Job Fair' Set for Jan. 20 in Bucks County

A career fair with opportunities from as many as 50 employers will be held next week in Bensalem.

The fair, organized by www.recruitmentqueen.com, will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Jan. 20 at Gwynedd Mercy University in Bensalem.

The New Year, New Career Job Fair will feature employment opportunities from 45 to 50 local employers, according to Jennifer Schultz, RecruitmentQueen.com CEO.

To date, the Pennsylvania State Police, Philadelphia Police Department, United States Navy, Lincoln Heritage, Wells Fargo, Stone More Partners, Mutual of Omaha, Army Recruiting, Robert Half, Loving Care Agency, Pennswood Village, The Protocall Group, Holy Redeemer, Preferred Home Health Care & Nursing and Ashfield Healthcare have all registered for the event, which is free and open to the job-seeking public.

Separate rooms would be designated for health care and general industries, Schultz said.

In addition to meeting employers and applying for work, job seekers can learn career-related know how during breakout sessions on topics including adult continuing education; branding yourself on LinkedIn; and networking to find a job.

Gwynedd Mercy University is located at 3329 Street Road in Bensalem.
