OLD CITY DISTRICT HOSTS INAUGURAL OLD CITY FEST

On Sunday October 12th Philadelphia's Oldest and Most Diverse Neighborhood Holds Its First Annual Street Festival

We are pleased to announce that Old City District will host the first ever Old City Fest on Sunday, October 12th – and will be part of DesignPhiladelphia’s 10th Anniversary celebration. The street festival will feature the neighborhood’s vibrant and diverse offerings and encourages people to explore all that Old City has to offer.

The event will highlight the region’s premier art and design district while showcasing local designers, creative firms, restaurants, retailers, galleries, theater, culture, history and architecture.

“We are thrilled to present our first-ever Old City Fest,” says Old City District’s Executive Director, Job Itzkowitz. “OId City Fest will be THE spot to immerse yourself in art and design, fashion and food, as well as creativity and culture.”

Participating vendors such as Smak Parlour, Reform Vintage Modern, Franklin Fountain, Scout Vintage, Sassafras, Arch Enemy Arts, Panorama and the Clay Studio will distinguish this festival from anything Philadelphia has seen before. Old City Fest will boast a festival stage with live music and performances, a design showcase room, pop-up theatrical performances, and a wide array of food, beverages and retail shopping.

From its historic past to its art presence and its tech future, Old City is the place to be! Join us in the heart of America’s historic streets for a new tradition - Sunday, October 12th from noon-6:00, Arch Street between 2nd and 4th Streets and 3rd Street between Race and Market Streets.
