Support Services for Seniors program

The Villages at Pine Valley (TVPV), an active adult community affiliated with Holy Redeemer Health System, will host a “Lunch and Learn” to give area seniors the chance to learn about the array of supportive services available to them.

There will be an overview of life at “The Villages at Pine Valley” and Senior Supportive Services, Inc., an independent firm with more than two decades of experience, will be covering:

• Choosing a Style of Retirement Living

• Affording Your Choice of Retirement Living Lifestyle

• Choosing Type of Entrance Fees

• Geriatric Care

• Tax Preparation

• Medical Insurance

• Wills and Trusts

The event will be limited to the first 50 respondents.

“Many of the support services are available to seniors free of charge, so this could be an excellent resource, especially for those who do not know where to begin looking for information,” said Maureen Wade, who is coordinating the event for The Villages at Pine Valley.

The program will kick-off with a tour of the community’s one-and two-bedroom apartments and condominiums at 10am, followed by a presentation and lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The Villages at Pine Valley is located at 8550 Verree Road, Philadelphia, PA 19111. The event will take place at the The Villages at Pine Valley Clubhouse. Visitors who make the turn from Verree Road onto the access drive will see the Clubhouse at the top of the hill on the right-hand side.
