This class will be held in 402F, please enter at the back of the building. You will see a set of double doors under an awning, enter through the glass door with the CE Classroom sign on it.
WHAT TO BRING: Notebook, something to write with
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN: Upon completion, participants will be able to explain the NCBTMB Code of Ethics and apply it within trauma-informed massage practice. You will effectively be able to identify boundary types and analyze how trauma affects boundary perception and consent, demonstrate ethical communication that promotes client safety and trust. Recognize countertransference, compassion fatigue, and burnout as ethical concerns. You will also be able to apply confidentiality and cultural-competence principles in trauma-sensitive care and develop a personalized Ethics & Safety Commitment Plan for continued professional growth.
