Malvern Police Blotter: Vehicle Break-Ins, Recovery Center Break-Out

The following arrest information was supplied by the Malvern Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Criminal Trespass... On Aug. 17, Courtney Hoffert, of Bethlehem, Pa., was arrested for criminal trespass and interference with custody of a person. She allegedly asked to see her boyfriend at the ReMed recovery center on Paoli Pike, then left with him in her vehicle.

Theft from Vehicle... There were four reports of automobiles being broken into in the southwest corner of the borough on or about Aug. 19. All owners reported that their vehicles were unlocked.

  • A GPS unit valued at $150 was missing from a BMW parked in a closed but unlocked garage on Culpepper Lane.
  • A TomTom GPS and Canon camera, valued at $100 and $300, respectively, were missing from a vehicle on the 500 block of Sugartown Road.
  • A TomTom GPS, valued at $150, was missing from another vehicle on the 500 block of Sugartown Road.
  • A black iPod Nano, valued at $50, was missing from another vehicle on the 500 block of Sugartown Road.
