VILLA MARIA ACADEMY INSTALLS OFFICERS IN SERVICE ORGANIZATION

Villa Maria Academy High School installed the 2013-2014 Children of Mary officers at a Mass celebrated by the Rev. James R. Flynn, O.S.A., this week.  Children of Mary is an association characterized by prayer, service and devotion to the Church through Mary, Mother of God. Officers are responsible for attending weekly meetings, chairing service projects and involving fellow students in the Thanksgiving Food Drive, Christmas Giving Tree Project, and service trips to Camilla Hall and the Salvation Army. This year’s officers are President Shannon O’Brien, Vice President Caroline Krueger and Secretaries Kristen Burke and Catherine Napoli.

Villa Maria Academy High School (Malvern, Pa.) is a private Catholic high school, preparing girls for college and beyond in the tradition of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. At Villa Maria, students are taught to be critical thinkers and confident leaders. These young ladies pursue a course of study that will continually reinforce analytical problem-solving skills, high-level thinking, and increasingly independent work. Villa Maria empowers young women to lead lives of spiritual growth, intellectual inquiry and Christian service. For more information, visit www.vmahs.org.
