Yeager Sworn In As New East Whiteland Police Chief

FRAZER, PA – East Whiteland Police Department Deputy Chief G. Christian Yeager has dropped the "deputy" from his title as he was recently sworn in as the department's new chief. Yeager Sworn In As New East Whiteland Police Chief
Yeager was officially sworn in on May 9, according to East Whiteland township.
Before being named chief, Yaeger served as a patrol officer, detective, detective sergeant, lieutenant, and deputy chief.

He joined the department more than 30 years ago in 1986.
Chief Yeager brings a career filled with knowledge, education, and skill to his newest appointment as Chief of the Department," the township said in an announcement. "We congratulate Chief Yeager and look forward to future achievements and advancements that he will bring to the East Whiteland Township Police."

Yeager was made chief after former chief Eugene J. Dooley died in March.
