Book Sale is set for Feb 4 - 8

The Friends of Newtown Public Library will host their Winter Book Sale Feb. 4 through 8.

The sale will open 10 a.m. to noon, Tuesday, Feb. 4 with a $3 entrance fee preview sale. The last day of the sale is Saturday, Feb. 8 with all the books half price. Hours are: Tuesday, 10 a.m. to noon for the $3 Preview Sale, then noon to 8 p.m.; Wednesday and Thursday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Friday, 10 to 5; and Saturday, 10 to 3. The sale will take place in the Community Room at the library. There will be plenty of parking, bags, and boxes for shoppers. Over 4000 books will be organized into approximately 35 categories with paperbacks costing $.50 and hard backs $1.

Volunteers are needed to set up the sale, cashier, keep tables neat and take down the sale.
