Recap: Chester Ridley Crum Watershed Cleanup in Newtown Square

The cleanup crew worked on May 5th as part of the 15^th Annual CRC Streams Cleanup organized by Chester Ridley Crum Watersheds Association (CRC) across 23 municipalities. 

The Drexel Lodge Park crew removed 780 pounds of trash from the park in Newtown Township.

The Delaware County Bike Club joined in the 15^th Annual CRC Streams Cleanup on May 5^th with their cleanup of Bishop Hollow and Gradyville roads in Newtown Township near the Springton Reservoir.

The Bike Club removed 10 contractor bags of litter along Gradyville Road, approach to the resevoir.

Two reptile species, two amphibian species, three mammals, and nearly 70 bird species were casually observed on just this one misty spring morning by EAC member Mike McGraw.
