This program teaches children ages 7 though 16 the basic fundamentals and etiquette of golf. Children will learn proper stance and swing techniques, how to get a grip, address the ball and have FUN. Other aspects of the game to be covered include chipping and putting. Furthermore, participants will learn the basic rules of golf as well as the importance of sportsmanship. No prior experience is needed. Equipment will be provided if needed. Groups meet for five one-hour clinics. The first four clinics meet on consecutive Saturdays mornings, while the fifth clinic is done on a weekday evening on the golf course (date TBA by instructor). The program coordinator is Daniel Malley, PGA Professional. Ages 7-11 are from 9:00am - 10:00am & Ages 12-16 are from 10:30am - 11:30am.
