Ashley Hunter
will bring history to life as we examine our 35th president, a hero
for all time.  We are all familiar
with Kennedy’s military service as commander of a PT boat during world War II,
his service in the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate. However,
Kennedy’s final public service as President as well as his death still remains
a puzzle.   We remember the love that we had for the experience of this
very young Presidential family’s tragedy during the assassination and the days
that followed.  Those of us that
lived through that period will never forget where we were when we learned of
Kennedy’s death. Since the 60’s, information has been revealed about his health
problems and other personal issues.
Kennedy ranks high in public opinion ratings as a U.S. President, but it
seems to be a different story between the public opinion and that of academics.

The public is always welcome at our meetings.    Refreshments will be served, offering the
opportunity to network and meet your neighbors.  It is time to venture out after our long period of
storms.   More details can be
found on the Society’s website
