Newtown Square Executive Among Forbes 'Most Powerful Women'

NEWTOWN SQUARE, PA – SAP in Newtown Square has been lauded for various reasons: it's CEO was named a best CEO for women; it was ranked among the best employers in the nation on several occasions; and for donating more than half a ton of food to Delaware County's food drive.

And now SAP North America and Asia Pacific Japan President Jennifer Morgan is being lauded herself.

Forbes recently released its list of Most Powerful Women, and Morgan found herself on the list and in good company.

This is the first time Morgan, 47, made the 51-woman list, but she was featured in Forbes "On Our Radar" list last year.

Here's what Forbes has to say about Morgan:

Morgan, an MPW “On Our Radar” pick in 2017, has had a speedy rise at SAP, going from head of regulated businesses to overseeing all of the Americas, Japan, and Asia Pacific in just five years. Her sprawling territory brought in more than $14 billion in revenue in 2017 and accounted for some 70% of the company’s cloud subscription and support revenue. The first-ever American woman to sit on SAP’s executive board, Morgan is also known for investigating—and closing—SAP North America’s gender pay gap.

Other powerful women to make the list include Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg, Lockheed Martin CEO er, and Oprah Winfrey.
