Newtown Township Police Department Looking To Hire New Officer

The Newtown Township Police Department is looking to hire a new officer and applications are being accepted now through 4 p.m., Friday, March 3.

Qualified applicants must be at least 21 years old, a United States citizen, have a high school degree or possess a GED certification, have a valid PA driver’s license, and be physically and mentally fit to perform all duties and job functions of a police officer.

Applicants must also have a diploma from a certified Act 120 school. Candidates with one to two years of work history as a police officer are preferred.

Applications and resumes can be submitted to Chief Christopher Lunn, Newtown Police Department, 209 Bishop Hollow Road, Newtown Square, PA 19073 by 4 p.m. Friday, March 3.

All applications must be hand delivered or received through the U.S. Postal Service. Faxed or emailed applications will not be excepted.
