Ribbon Cutting, Egg Hunt At Veterans Memorial Park In Broomall
The event will include a ribbon cutting and dedication of the playground, a kid's egg hunt, food trucks, and vendors.

BROOMALL, PA — Marple Township is inviting community members to its upcoming ribbon cutting and dedication event at Veterans Memorial Park Playground next month, which will also feature an egg hunt for kids.
The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 9 at the park on Lawrence Road in Broomall.
Vendors and local food trucks will be on hand offering their wares and dishes from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 1 p.m.
After the ceremony, an Easter egg hunt and bunny photos will be held at 1:15 p.m.

The egg hunt will be split into age groups, 2 to 4, 5 to 7, and 8 and older.
In the case of inclement weather, the event will be moved to Saturday, April 16.
Veterans Memorial Park now features an all-inclusive playground.
Funding from the park came partially from the Delco Green Ways program, which allocated $100,000 to the park's construction.
