Young Artist Recital
Anna Dmytrenko, pianist
Join us for a rare USA performance of pianist, Anna Dmytrenko.
Ms. Dmytrenko will be performing works by Bach, Mozart, Beethoven and Barber
Born in Ukraine in 1992, pianist Anna Dmytrenko has dedicated her life
to music from a young age. Appearing as a concert pianist, Anna has
performed at such renowned venues as the
Kimmel Center of Performing Arts, Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, Salle
Cortot, Yamaha Salon, St James’s Piccadilly, and Temple Emanu-El.
Anna won prizes in many international piano competitions - amongst them
were first places at the Dorothy MacKenzie Artist Recognition
Competition, Viardo International Piano Competition, and Bradshaw and
Buono International Piano Competition. Most recently, Anna was awarded
the third prize at the New York International Piano Competition, and was
thus featured on the McGraw-Hill Companies Young Artists Showcase on
WQXR radio in New York. As a current resident of England, she is
enjoying performing both solo and chamber music around the UK in places
like St. Paul’s, Bedford, Windsor Parish Church, St. Mary’s Perivale,
and Regent Hall, amongst others.
Through numerous master classes,
Anna was very happy to receive guidance from famed pianists and teachers
including Boris Berman, Alexander Braginsky, Akiko Ebi, Richard Goode,
Gary Graffman, Karl-Heinz Kämmerling, Olga Kern, Piotr Paleczny, Jerome
Rose, and Arie Vardi.
Anna began her studies at the Mariupol
School of Music in Ukraine. Following her relocation to the United
States, she furthered her musical education at the Delaware Music School
as a pupil of David Brown and Jeanne Pascal. In 2004, Anna was admitted
to the Juilliard School Pre-College Division to study under scholarship
with Oxana Yablonskaya. She has now gratefully received the John
Burgess and Carr Gregory Awards and pursuing her Bachelor of Music
degree at the Royal Academy of Music in London with Christopher Elton.
