1 Hurt After Shots Fired Near I-95 In Delco: Report

CHESTER, PA — Shots were fired near Interstate 95 in Delaware County Tuesday afternoon and Pennsylvania State Police are investigating, according to a report.

One person was shot in the leg when gunfire broke out on the Conchester Highway near an Interstate 95 overpass at about 1:40 p.m. Tuesday, Action News reports.

PennDOT said the ramp to I-95 southbound from Highland Avenue is closed due to police activity.

According to Action News, it's unclear if the person injured was shot when the gunfire broke out. They were taken to Crozer Chester Medical Center for treatment.
