1st Annual Harvest Moon Dance Fundraiser Benefiting Homeless Shelters

The 1st Annual Harvest Moon Fundraising Event will be held on Sunday October 19th (Eagles bye week) and will benefit homeless shelters in Delaware County.  The event will support the homeless shelters operated by the Community Action Agency of Delaware County, Inc. (CAADC) including the Wesley House (families and single women), the Family Management Center (families) and the Life Center of Eastern Delaware County (single men and women).

This fun event will be from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and will include a relaxing evening listening and dancing to all your favorite Big Band Music from the 30’s and 40’s (from an experienced DJ).  A light supper is included as well catered by Justine’s Cuisines.  Additional donations will be requested for wine and beer.  It is being held at St. Philomena Roman Catholic Church at 41 E. Baltimore Avenue in Lansdowne, PA 19050 (parking entrance is on Highland Avenue).  Tickets are $20.  Please call Ann at (610) 853-1484 or Linda at (610) 622-0870 to purchase a ticket.  Tickets may be purchased on-line by clicking on the “TICKETS” button at www.caadc.org (tickets will then be mailed plus purchasers will be put on a list at the door).
