Delco Police Conducting DUI Checkpoint This Weekend
If you're driving in the southern part of the county this weekend, you may encounter officers checking for impaired drivers.

Police in the southern part of Delaware County will be out in force this weekend in an effort to crack down on impaired driving.
The Nether Providence Police Department will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint at an unspecified location in the township Sept. 22 through Sept. 24.
Checkpoints focus on identifying drug- and alcohol-impaired drivers before they get involved in a collision, thereby increasing the safety for all motorists on the township roadways.
