I-95 Crash In Delco Hurts 2, Closes Highway For Hours: Reports
Two people were reportedly severely hurt after being ejected from one of the three vehicles involved in the early Friday morning crash.
CHESTER, PA — A crash on Interstate 95 north in Delaware County left two people seriously hurt and closed the highway for about five hours, according to officials and reports.
The crash occurred at about 2 a.m. on I-95 between ;the Commodore Barry Bridge and Kerlin Street exits in Chester, PennDOT said.
All lanes of the highway were closed by the crash, according to PennDOT.

Action News reports one vehicle hit another, causing the second vehicle to strike another vehicle, which rolled over several times. Two of its occupants were ejected and severely injured.
The driver of the initial striking vehicle ran off and the driver of the vehicle that rolled over was taken into custody for DUI, according to Action News.

PennDOT said the highway reopened at about 7:40 a.m.
