Missing Delco Teen Riley Harkins Found In Philadelphia
Riley Harkins, 15, was found Wednesday in Philly after going missing Sept. 21 from Media, Delco District Attorney Katayoun Copeland said.
MEDIA, PA — After more than a week of searching, authorities said a missing 15-year-old Delaware County girl has been found.
Riley Harkins, who went missing Sept. 15 from Media, was found safe Wednesday, Oct. 2, District Attorney Katayoun Copeland said.
Copeland said Harkins was found in Philadelphia thanks to community's help.

Since Harkins is a minor, Copeland was unable to provide further details on the case.
"Riley was located this afternoon in Philadelphia and will be re-united with her family," Copeland said. "We thank the community and the press for their outpouring of support which was instrumental in locating her. The investigation into this matter is ongoing. We thank our fellow law enforcement partners, including the lead agency, the Media Police Department, our Criminal Investigation Division, as well as the Philadelphia Police Department, the SEPTA Police Department, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the United States Marshals Service for their great work in ensuring Riley safe return."
