Teen In Custody In Connection With Elderly Man's Death
A 14-year-old boy is facing murder and related charges in connection with the shooting death of a 79-year-old man in Chester Wednesday.
CHESTER, PA — A 14-year-old boy is in police custody after authorities said he shot and killed a 79-year-old man in Delaware County Wednesday.
Chester City Police said Friday afternoon Zhafir Tinsley-Jones, 14, of Chester was taken into custody.
Tinsley-Jones is charged with murder, homicide, possessing a gun without a license, and related charged, according to court documents.

Court records show Tinsley-Jones has not been arraigned yet.
Police said Tinsley-Jones shot and killed a 79-year-old victim in his vehicle that eventually crashed at 3rd and Wilcox Streets in Trainer Borough.

Fox 29 and Action News report the victim was identified as Robert Womack, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
