• 1 person killed, another injured in Pine Township crash (alliednews.com) — A Mercer resident was killed and another driver seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash on Barkeyville Road in Pine Township, with state police saying neither man was wearing a seat belt. The wreck drew multiple Mercer County emergency responders and closed the area while crews towed both heavily damaged vehicles and the coroner pronounced the Mercer driver dead at the scene.
