SOLEBURY, PA — After more than nine decades, it's hard to find an artistic tradition in Bucks County as beloved as the Juried Art Show at Phillips' Mill.

This year's exhibition, the Mill's 93rd, opens on Saturday, September 24 and runs through Sunday, October 30. The gallery is open daily from 1 to 5 p.m. It is the “must-see” stop during those leaf-peeping, autumn drives along River Road.

Devoted to the artistic spirit of Bucks County and the river towns region, the show features over 100 framed pieces and sculptures including work by 2022 Honored Artist Luiz Vilela and the show’s signature image, “Lights at Night” by Patricia Allingham Carlson. A bounty of unframed portfolio pieces in a wide range of media fill out the show offering art lovers and collectors a full afternoon of browsing. All works are for sale both at the Mill and online.

Phillips’ Mill is a charming landmark, 18th-century grist mill located on River Road at the dramatic, tight turn just north of New Hope. For almost a century it has served as the perfect setting for this historic art event instituted by the group of artists that became known as the New Hope School and formed the Phillips’ Mill Community Association in 1929. Be a part of its history by attending this most prestigious show.
