Breaking: An alleged child rapist who is sought by police in Bucks County has been spotted in Delaware, authorities announced Thursday.​

An alleged child rapist who is sought by police in Bucks County has been spotted in Delaware, authorities announced Thursday.

David Hamilton Jr. was seen in New Castle County, Delaware on Wednesday, Sept. 26 between 10 and 10:30 a.m. in the stolen white 2016 Toyota Avalon, police said.

Hamilton, a 47-year-old Trevose resident, is wanted by Lower Southampton Police on 12 child sex assault charges, including child rape. A warrant for Hamilton's arrest was issued on Sept. 19 and authorities have been actively searching for him since Sept. 21.

Police on Wednesday alerted the community to keep watch for the stolen car, and said Hamilton may be camping along the Delaware River.
