Man's Body Found In Icy Pool, Bucks Co. DA Investigating

The Bucks County District Attorney's office is investing after a body was found encased in ice in a pool in New Hope Tuesday.

NEW HOPE, PA — A body was found encased in ice in a pool in New Hope Tuesday, according to authorities. The deceased male was found in a pool off W. Ferry and S. Main streets, according to the Bucks County District Attorney's office.

James O'Malley, District Attorney spokesman, said that office is investigating along with the New Hope Borough Police Department.

The identity of the deceased male will not be released Tuesday night, O'Malley said. He said he could not comment if foul play is suspected at this time.

New Hope Borough Police referred all inquiries related to the incident to the Bucks County District Attorney's office.

Local sources tell Patch the body was located in an old pool behind the area of Marsha Brown and the Mansion Inn. The property is currently under construction.
