Bucks County-Based Pickle Business Expanding To New Hope
The owners said its Lower Bucks County location will remain its primary site as it expands into New Hope with a retail location.

NEW HOPE, PA — A Lower Bucks County-based pickle business is expanding to New Hope, according to a social media announcement from Giovanni’s Dillicious Pickles.
Its New Hope location, slated to open at 1270 South Main Street, is planned as a retail location featuring the company’s popular jarred products and "over 60 different pickle flavors."
According to the announcement, a full tasting bar is also part of the plan for the new store.

As renovations begin at the new space, Giovanni's said they are planning something really special … a custom pickle mural that celebrates New Hope.
"The mural will feature popular landmarks, familiar faces, and people who have made a difference right here in this amazing community … all reimagined as our signature pickle people," said the Truitt's.
The store is currently curating a list of notable individuals to feature, including historical figures, well known public figures, and members of the community who have made a meaningful impact on New Hope and the surrounding area.
Who do you think should be included?
"If you would like your New Hope business featured on our mural, please comment on our Facebook page. This is completely free and is simply our way of recognizing and supporting our local community," the Truitt's said.
"We are especially looking to highlight individuals connected to New Hope’s rich history, arts scene, and community spirit."
Private individuals will only be included with their permission. Public figures and historical figures may be featured based on their recognized contributions and connection to the area.
The Truitt's said they are also planning to collaborate with local police and fire departments.
"We will be gathering names of officers and firefighters, and the community will have the opportunity to vote on who will be honored as our New Hope Police Pickle and Fire Department Pickle… officially becoming part of our pickle people wall.
"This is more than just a mural. It is our way of celebrating the people who make this town so special," the Truitt's said.
A Broader Vision
The Truitt’s said the new shop is part of a broader effort to grow the brand while keeping its local roots.
"We are so excited to bring something fun, unique, and completely pickle-obsessed to a town that thrives on experience,” they said. “More details coming soon … but trust us, this is going to be BIG.”
While they are excited about the new location, the family-run company said the expansion will not replace its Bristol operations, which will continue to be its primary location.
“This will not replace our Lower Bucks County location. Giovanni’s Dillicious Pickles is staying in the area for our primary location.”
Ironically, the idea of the business was born - believe it or not - from a craving for pickle sandwiches.
When Gabby Truitt was pregnant, she had a serious craving for pickles, replacing bread with pickles in her sandwiches. That led her brother to launch a food truck in 2021 devoted to pickles, which he named after his son, Giovanni.
The company is owned and operated by Tom, Gabby, Dominic, Ava, Scarlett, Everly, and Ariana Truitt who describe the business "as a family venture rooted in love, tradition, and the art of pickling."
