Family caregivers in Solebury Township and the surrounding area can turn to The Birches at New Hope for senior wellness guidance, including dementia-related support.
The personal care and memory care community at 6554 Lower York Road will host a free Caregivers’ Support Group meeting on the fourth Thursday of each month at 6:00 p.m., facilitated by Memory Care Director Lauren Tritschler. Local healthcare professionals will periodically present on topics relevant to caregiving and senior wellness.
The topic schedule is as follows:
May 28 – “Caregiver Burnout” presented by Gentiva Hospice and Executive Home Care
Attendees can expect to gain practical caregiving strategies and resources, as well as emotional support and a sense of community with others who understand the caregiving journey.
