Hunterdon County Teen Still Missing After Almost 2 Weeks
Friends and family have increased their efforts to find Chase Merone, a 17-year-old from Hunterdon County who went missing March 28.

Friends and family have increased their efforts to find Chase Merone, the 17-year-old New Jersey teen who has been missing since March 28. Friends and family have been putting up missing posters in the Flemington area, hoping that someone can help find the Hunterdon County youth who was last seen on his skateboard.
Meg Murphy, a friend, told nj.com that the phone number for Jonathan Merone, Chase's father, is listed incorrectly on posters. The number is actually 619-587-3487. Others have taken to Facebook to increase the awareness.
Merone, from Raritan Township, has not been seen since early March 28 after he had an argument with his family about homework.

Jonathan Merone urged his son, a student at Hunterdon Central Regional High School, to come home or contact him as soon as possible and said he won't face any punishment, according to nj.com.
"We just want to know that he's safe," his father told nj.com Thursday afternoon. "He's not in trouble."

Chase Merone was last seen at the Wawa store on Route 31 on a surveillance camera, according to his father.
Chase had left a note saying he would leave his cell phone at the Wawa, and he did leave it there, so he has not been able reach his son since he left, according to nj.com.
Anyone with information on Chase's location can contact the Raritan Township Police Department at (908) 782-8889.
