HUNTERDON COUNTY, N.J. -- A "legendary" Ronald McDonald statue has gone missing from a Hunterdon County fast food restaurant, and the owner is offering a reward upon his safe return, according to a report.

The Hunterdon Review reports the life-size Ronald McDonald statue disappeared Wednesday, April 26 from the Koury Family McDonald’s Restaurant on Center Street in Clinton Township. Restaurant co-owner Philip Koury tells the publication that the location is undergoing renovations. Construction workers left around 11 p.m. and when he arrived back at the restaurant Thursday morning, Ronald was missing.

“I can’t believe that someone would take Ronald. He was like a member of the Clinton McDonald’s family,” Koury said, according to the Hunterdon Review.
