Man Rescued After Collapse At Ferry Market Construction Site, Reports Say

NEW HOPE, PA — If you noticed the commotion on South Main Street Monday here's why: a worker at the new Ferry Market construction site was buried in a ditch after a trench collapsed, according to multiple media and scanner reports. The incident happened late Monday morning at the construction site at 32 S. Main Street.

According to a report by the Bucks County Courier Times, John Curran, 28, of Feasterville, was transported to St. Mary Medical Center, where he was treated and released. Officials told the publication he was trapped in the dirt for 20 minutes before emergency responders were able to free him at the scene.

Curran was working on the construction of the new market slated to open at the former Four Seasons Mall site.
