Artists Invited To Submit Works For 93rd Phillips' Mill Show
This year's show will be held September 24 to October 30 both live at the Mill and online.

NEW HOPE, Pa. — Planning for the 93rd Juried Art Show at Phillips’ Mill is well underway and the 2022 prospectus is now available on the Phillips’ Mill website at www.phillipsmill.org/prospectus.
This year’s show will be held September 24 to October 30 both live at the Mill and online.
"There is nothing like experiencing the show in our beloved landmark Mill," says Mary Flamer, chair of this year's art show. "Making it available online, too, offers unrivaled accessibility and welcomes art lovers near and far."

The art show committee is also excited to announce that jurying this year will take place in person at the mill. This has been a long-time tradition at Phillips' Mill, which was interrupted the past two years by the COVID pandemic.
“Having the jurors on site to see the submitted works in person, to view the artwork in real light from every angle, to experience texture, brushwork, color, is something special in this day of online jurying," says Flamer. “We are thrilled to be able to offer this to our submitting artists once again."

Artists are invited to submit up to four pieces of artwork: one framed piece, one piece of sculpture, and up to two unframed pieces for the portfolio displays. Accepted media includes painting — watercolor, oil, pastel, acrylic, gouache, etc. — drawing (ink, pencil, charcoal, etc.), printmaking, mixed media and collage. Photography, digital work, giclee prints of original artwork and crafts are not eligible.
All registration will be done online at https://client.smarterentry.com/PMPE between August 1 and August 31. High-resolution images are required of all work when registering to facilitate the creation of the online show. Work must then be dropped off at Phillips' Mill during receiving days, September 9 and 10, for in-person jurying and must have been registered online prior to drop off.
All artists who submit work to the show, whether accepted or not, will be invited to the Opening Night Reception for Patrons and Artists. This delightful fête, celebrated beneath a lighted tent on the beautiful grounds of the Mill, never disappoints and always offers attendees a first look at the show and the opportunity to buy before the show opens to the public. Awards are presented at the opening reception as well.
