LAMBERTVILLE, N.J. — Phillipsburg-based Invertase Brewing Company celebrated the opening of its new Lambertville taproom at 80 Lambert Lane on September 5.

"Our grand opening was bumpin'. Thank you to Lambertville and surrounding communities for the huge show of support," wrote owners Karen and Steve on their Facebook page. "We had an awesome time meeting everyone."

“At Invertase Brewing Company, we take pride in our distinctive approach to brewing, setting ourselves apart from the competition with a relentless commitment to innovation and quality through meticulous attention to detail, trust, and patience,” said the owners. “Our team consists of scientists, microbiologists, biochemists, and mechanical engineers who bring a wealth of expertise to the brewing process. They added, “Each brew is a testament to our passion for creativity and precision, incorporating both traditional and unconventional ingredients and cutting-edge brewing methods that elevate the drinking experience," the owners said. "Whether it’s our vibrant, fruit forward IPA’s, our rich, complex barrel-aged stouts, or our traditional beer selection, every sip invites customers on a flavorful journey, showcasing our dedication to artistry and exploration in brewing.”

Invertase launched in Phillipsburg in October 2019 with four taps. Since then, the craft brewery has rapidly expanded its offerings, built the largest beer garden in the state (including a bandstand) and added a private event space. Today, it operates a 5,000-square-foot taproom and production facility at 51 North Broad Street, Phillipsburg.
