Rev Up Your Summer With The New Hope Automobile Show

NEW HOPE, PA — The 67th edition of The New Hope Automobile Show promises to be among its best yet. Taking place Saturday, August 12 and Sunday, August 13 on the grounds of the New Hope-Solebury High School (180 West Bridge St., New Hope, PA 18938) the show is a rare opportunity to see and appreciate the design and technology of automobile manufacturers from all over the world.

This year The New Hope Automobile Show is celebrating four milestone auto anniversaries. On Saturday, August 12 the show will honor the 70th anniversary of the Corvette. On Sunday, August 13 it will honor the 100th anniversary of the MG, 75th anniversary of Porsche, and 75th anniversary of the Lotus.

Spectators will be treated to an entirely separate field of vehicles each day, with Saturday featuring domestic vehicles and Sunday featuring foreign vehicles – from vintage and classic to rods and tuner cars. A full slate of vehicles can be viewed at www.newhopeautoshow.com.

Both Saturday and Sunday editions of the show will feature the 2023 poster car, a 1971 Lotus Type 69 Formula 2 race car.

Gates open to the public each day at 9 a.m. with the show running until 4 p.m. Tickets may be purchased at the gate: $10 general admission; Active Duty Military personnel and their dependents attend for free (must show ID). Children age 12 and under are free when accompanied by an adult. On-site parking is $5.

The New Hope Automobile Show is presented by New Hope Helping. One of the oldest and most celebrated auto shows in the country, The New Hope Automobile Show features many of the finest antique and classic automobiles and motorcycles from across the eastern United States. The event has been staged in historic New Hope, Pennsylvania, since 1957.

Established in 1949, the mission of New Hope Helping has grown from raising funds to support the needs of the New Hope-Solebury School District to fundraising efforts to support the community at large via auto show-related events, cultural events, sports, and music.

New Hope Helping has been responsible for providing the New Hope-Solebury High School with a new gymnasium, 17-acre recreation field, Community Center, and track, as well as annual scholarships to New Hope-Solebury High School seniors.

Additional donations are provided to regional non-profits, many of whom provide volunteers to help with The New Hope Automobile Show, which is New Hope Helping’s largest fundraising event.
