Six Charged With Providing False ID At New Hope Restaurant

Police also charged a seventh with making a false report to law enforcement.

NEW HOPE BOROUGH, PA — Seven New Jersey residents have been charged with false identification and false reports to police.

The New Hope Borough Police were dispatched at 12:04 a.m. on Dec. 30 to a South Main Street restaurant for numerous individuals attempting to gain entry with counterfeit driver licenses.

The individuals were identified as under the age of 21 years and their counterfeit licenses were confiscated by the doorman, police said.

Police later identified them as being between the ages of 18 and 20 years old.

The underage individuals from New Jersey included three females and four males. One individual gave false information on his identity to the police and left the scene.

Officers were able to identify the man and charge him with false reports to police. The
other six individuals were charged with false identification.
