(Solebury Township)

SOLEBURY TOWNSHIP, PA — In anticipation of accumulating snow, Solebury Township has declared a snow emergency beginning at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 11 and continuing until 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 12.

During a snow emergency, motorists are not permitted to park any vehicles, trucks, or trailers of any kind on public streets in the township. Portable basketball nets need to be turned away from the street along with any other objects that might interfere with township crews clearing snow and treating streets.

In addition, it is unlawful to operate any motor vehicle on any public roadway unless the vehicle is equipped with adequate equipment to provide sufficient traction to stay in motion so that other traffic will not be blocked or seriously impeded. If necessary, the township will tow vehicles and assess all costs to the owner of any vehicle parked on the public roadway during a declared snow emergency.
