This lecture will explore the lives and contributions of some of the individuals who were part of the Christmas night crossing.

WASHINGTON CROSSING, PA — Washington Crossing Historic Park curator Kimberly McCarty will present a free lecture entitled, “Who Was Here in 1776,” on Sunday, December 4 at 7 p.m. at the park’s visitor center, located at 1112 River Road in Washington Crossing.
While some of the people who crossed the Delaware River to attack the Hessians in Trenton on December 25, 1776 became well-known figures, many remain unknown to the public. This lecture will explore the lives and contributions of some of the individuals who were part of the Christmas night crossing and the subsequent victories that followed over the next week.
This lecture is free, but registration is required at WashingtonCrossingPark.org/events. Registration is required for both in-person and virtual attendance as space is limited. Those watching on Zoom will receive login information when they register. If you do not receive an email confirmation after you register, call 215-493-4076.
