The 9th annual Newtown Irish Festival gets underway Wednesday, March 13 and goes through Sunday, March 17. Here are the details.
NEWTOWN, PA — Newtown is gearing up for the 9th annual Irish Festival, which gets underway Wednesday, March 13 and goes through Sunday, March 17 at the Green Parrot on Sycamore Street.
Festivities include live music, Irish food, drinks, dancing, children's activities and more. Entertainment will happen inside the bar, as well as in the outdoor tent.
The festivities kick off Wednesday, March 13 with a performance in the pub by Seamus & CJ starting at 7 p.m. The same act will perform in the pub on Thursday, March 14 starting at 7 p.m.

On Friday, March 15, the fun starts at noon. Seamus & CJ will perform from noon to 4 p.m. Seamus Kelleher will follow at 5 p.m., and a DJ will take over at 9 p.m.

One hundred pre-sale VIP tickets for entrance on Saturday and Sunday have sold out. You can still buy pre-sale Sunday only tickets, which are $10. Click here for tickets.
Tickets at the door for Saturday and Sunday will be $10, and can be purchased based on availability.
The Green Parrot is located at 240 N Sycamore St, Newtown.
