3 cars had their windows smashed and valuables stolen while parked at The Birches at Newtown on Durham Road, police said.

Three cars were broken into while parked at a local assisted living facility this week, Newtown Township Police said. The cars had their windows smashed and valuables stolen while parked at The Birches at Newtown on Durham Road, police said.
The incident was reported at 6:45 a.m. on June 12.
The victims told police their purses had been stolen from the front passenger seat of their cars, which were parked directly in front of the main entrance. The front passenger windows had been forcibly broken into on each vehicle, police said.
