Ardana Food And Drink In Newtown To Close Following Saturday Service (patch.com) β€” Newtown diners have one last chance tonight to visit Ardana Food and Drink at the Village at Newtown before it closes and its space transitions to a new owner. The Christou family is thanking the Newtown community for three and a half years of support, while the LaScala Restaurant Group prepares to reopen the location as LaScala Fire with a classic Italian-American and sushi-focused menu.

Firefighter Injured As Flames Tear Through Newtown Township Home (patch.com) β€” Newtown Township residents saw a massive emergency response Thursday when a Tall Oaks Lane home erupted in flames, forcing firefighters to evacuate the structure twice as conditions worsened. One firefighter suffered a leg injury and Route 532 was shut down for hours while Newtown Fire Rescue and 15 supporting companies battled difficult water access and lingering hot spots into the evening.

New Manager Unanimously Appointed By Newtown Borough Council (patch.com) β€” Newtown Borough has hired Kellie Frain as its new administrative manager after a unanimous council vote, filling the role left vacant by a spring retirement. A Bucks County native with municipal and communications experience, Frain will oversee day-to-day borough operations and pledges to keep residents informed and engaged in their small-town government.

Iron Hill Brewery Reopens Five Locations, Brings Back Menu Favorites and Seasonal Beers (wmgk.com) β€” Iron Hill Brewery is reopening five locations in the region, but its Newtown restaurant remains closed for now, along with several other area sites. The company, now led by a new executive team, says it's focusing on a "culture of care," keeping popular menu items and seasonal beers while pausing further expansion to stabilize operations.

The Rose Group Promotes Harry Karopoulos to Operations EVP (mychesco.com) β€” A Newtown-based restaurant franchise operator, The Rose Group, has promoted longtime leader Harry Karopoulos to executive vice president of operations, strengthening senior leadership at its Bucks County headquarters.
