LANGHORNE, PA — How many times have you passed the old farmhouse on Rt 413 in Middletown and wondered about its history?
Bucks County author Pat Mervine will share the forgotten history of this unique more than 300-year-old building, including its origin, the changes it went through, and its future during a public program on Sunday, April 16 beginning at 7 p.m. at the Richardson House, Bellevue and Maple avenues, Langhorne.
Mervine will also reveal the interesting background of its 20-plus owners - who they were, what they did, the history they witnessed, and how they contributed to life in Bridgetown, Langhorne, and beyond.

Once home to colonial artisans, then prosperous farmers, the property will soon become the home of the African American Museum of Bucks County. The public will learn during this presentation just how appropriate that is.
Mervine is the author of "Boone Farm: Its People and Place in Middletown History."

A $5 per person donation at the door and proceeds from the sale of her book will go directly to the Building Fund of the African American Museum of Bucks County.
