NEWTOWN, PA — A Langhorne man captured on video using his babies' carseats to steal sunglasses from a Newtown business has turned himself into police, authorities said.
Benjamin Randall, 40, turned himself in Wednesday, two days after an arrest warrant was issued. Police said Randall stole $1,000 worth of sunglasses by concealing them in two baby car seats earlier this month at Design for Vision on West Road in Newtown.
Numerous tips were received by police after a surveillance video of the July 19 theft was released.
