NEWTOWN BOROUGH, PA — The Newtown Library Company's popular BookLovers Party returns to the Stocking Works for the first time since 2020 later this month.

“We have greatly missed hosting this special event that has brought so much joy over the years, and are thrilled to gather our community together once again to celebrate this historic Bucks County gem,” said Donna Gusty, board president of the Newtown Library Company.

The event takes place inside the Atrium from 6 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 18 and will feature a fabulous array of hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, music, dancing, a silent auction, and many raffle items generously donated by local Newtown businesses and organizations.

The Newtown Library Company, the oldest continually operating subscription-based library in Bucks County, is a nonprofit that relies on membership fees and donations for support.

With the community’s support, the library was able to complete its E-book initiative in early 2022. E-books allow members to download their books on their mobile & computer media devices, and has been very popular with its members. Become a member, or visit the library’s free reading rooms, and become part of a piece of history.

The library is located at 114 East Centre Avenue, Newtown. For more information, visit
